Bundesliga (Week 9) : Hannover beats Augsburg 2-1
GERMANY, Oct. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 9: After losing 2-1 to Mönchengladbach on October 14 and 1-2 to Eintracht Frankfurt on October 14, Hannover 96 bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Augsburg this Saturday.
Niclas Füllkrug scored dual goals
Augsburg had started off well by taking the lead in the 33rd minute with a goal by Austrian forward Michael Gregoritsch. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Hannover 96 players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Füllkrug '76, '89).
Hannover 96 climbed to 6th place with 15 points from 9 games, tie on points with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, which has a game in hand.
