Bundesliga (Week 9) : Eintracht draw 2-2 with Dortmund
GERMANY, Oct. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 9: Borussia Dortmund was held to a 2-2 draw by Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
Borussia Dortmund players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Turkish midfielder Nuri Şahin in the 19th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Philipp goal ('57) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Eintracht Frankfurt with goals by Sébastien Haller ('64 on penalty) and Marius Wolf ('68).
Borussia Dortmund remains in first place with 20 points from 9 games, one point ahead of runner-up RB Leipzig.
