Tunisia beats Zimbabwe to reach AFCON quarterfinals
COTONOU, Jan. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 : Tunisia defeated Zimbabwe by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 4-1), in a AFCON group stage game on Monday night at the Stade de l'Amitié in Cotonou.
Tunisia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Sliti ('9), Msakni ('22), Khenissi ('36) and Khazri ('45 on penalty). Leading 4-1 at the break, the Tunisians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
