AFCON 2017 Qualifiers : Sudan beats Sierra Leone 1-0
KHARTOUM, Jun. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Sudan defeated Sierra Leone by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday night at the Khartoum Stadium.
Sierra Leone made the Sudaneses doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Alagab on penalty in the 77th minute.
The result put the Sudanese top of Group I with 3 points. In their next game, Sudan will meet third-placed Ivory Coast at the Khartoum Stadium on March 25, while Sierra Leone will face Ivory Coast.
