AFCON 2017 Qualifiers : Sudan and Ivory Coast play to a 1-1 draw

OMDURMAN, Mar. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Sudan tied 1-1 with Ivory Coast (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday night at the Al-Merrikh Stadium in Omdurman.

One goal for both sides in the first half, El Tahir ('29) for Sudan, Gradel ('16) for Ivory Coast and none in the second.

The result put the Ivorians top of Group I with 5 points. Sudan is second with 4 points. In their last game, Ivory Coast will meet third-placed Sierra Leone at the Al-Merrikh Stadium on September 3, while Sudan will face Sierra Leone.
