ENGLAND, Apr. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 44: Bournemouth was held to a 2-2 draw by Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Sheffield Wednesday players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Kieran Lee in the 36th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Maguire goal on penalty ('90) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Bournemouth with goals by Yann Kermorgant ('69) and Matt Ritchie ('84).
AFC Bournemouth are down in second place with 84 points from 44 games, one point behind Watford FC.
