Championship (Week 45) : Leeds United beats Sheffield Wednesday 2-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 45: After five straigth defeats, the Whites bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday this Saturday.
Sheffield Wednesday had started off well by taking the lead in the 36th minute with a goal by Scottish forward Chris Maguire on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Whites nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Taylor '57 and Morison '72).
Sheffield Wednesday FC remains in 12nd place with 59 points from 45 games, tie on points with Nottingham Forest FC, which has a game in hand.
