Championship (Week 45) : Watford beats Brighton 2-0
ENGLAND, Apr. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 45: Five wins in a row for Watford. After their success against Middlesbrough, Millwall, Nottingham Forest and Birmingham City, the Hornets continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion this Saturday.
Watford dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Troy Deeney in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Hornets further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Vydra in stoppage time.
Watford FC remains in first place with 88 points from 45 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up AFC Bournemouth, which has a game in hand.
