Championship (Week 44) : Wigan Athletic defeats Brighton 2-1

ENGLAND, Apr. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 44: After losing 2-0 to Millwall on April 14, the Latics returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion this Saturday.

Wigan Athletic dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Tim Chow in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Latics further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Perch with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.

Brighton and Hove Albion FC are down in 20th place with 46 points from 44 games, one point behind Reading FC, which has two games in hand.
