Championship (Week 44) : Charlton Athletic beats Leeds United 2-1

ENGLAND, Apr. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 44: After three straigth draws, the Addicks bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Leeds United this Saturday.

Leeds United had started off well by taking the lead in the 40th minute with a goal by Welsh forward Steve Morison. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Addicks nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Watt '75 and Buyens '80 on penalty).

Charlton Athletic FC climbed to 10th place with 60 points from 44 games, tie on points with Blackburn Rovers FC, which has a game in hand.
