Championship (Week 9) : Norwich City beats Burton 3-1

ENGLAND, Sep. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 9: Four wins in a row for Norwich City. After their success against Cardiff City, Wigan Athletic and Nottingham Forest, the Canaries continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Burton Albion this Saturday.

Norwich City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Swedish defender Martin Olsson in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Canaries further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Murphy '47 and Pinto Ivo '89).

Norwich City climbed to first place with 20 points from 9 games, one point ahead of runner-up Huddersfield Town AFC.
