Championship (Week 41) : Cardiff City defeats Brentford 2-1
WALES, Apr. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 41: After their 0-0 draw against Barnsley on April 4, Cardiff City returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Brentford this Saturday.
Brentford had started off well by taking the lead in the 42nd minute with a goal by Canos Sergi. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Cardiff City players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Morrison '47 and Whittingham '76).
Brentford FC remains in 12nd place with 56 points from 41 games, 2 points behind Aston Villa.
