Championship (Week 41) : Derby County defeats Birmingham City 2-1

ENGLAND, Apr. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 41: Three wins in a row for Derby County. After their success against QPR and Fulham, the Rams continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Birmingham City this Saturday.

Derby County dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Polish goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rams further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ince Tom in stoppage time.

Derby County FC climbed to 8th place with 62 points from 41 games, 4 points behind Sheffield Wednesday FC, which has a game in hand.
