ENGLAND, Apr. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 44: After their 1-1 draw against Barnsley on April 17, the Bees bounced back with a 3-1 victory over QPR this Saturday.
Brentford dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French defender Yoann Barbet in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bees further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jota Peleteiro '60/penalty and Jota Peleteiro '64).
Brentford FC climbed to 9th place with 63 points from 44 games, 3 points behind Norwich City.
