ENGLAND, Apr. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 44: After two straigth victories against Aston Villa and Rotherham United, the Royals lost 3-2 against Nottingham Forest.
Britt Assombalonga scored dual goals
Nottingham Forest dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Britt Assombalonga in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Reds further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Assombalonga '47 and Carayol '54).
Reading FC remains in third place with 79 points from 44 games, 6 points behind Newcastle United, which has a game in hand.
