Championship (Week 43) : Reading beats Rotherham 2-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 43: Two wins in a row for Reading. After their 1-3 win against Aston Villa on April 15, the Royals continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Rotherham United this Monday.
Rotherham United had started off well by taking the lead in the 19th minute with a goal by midfielder Tom Adeyemi. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Royals nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Grabban '66 and Swift '79).
Reading FC climbed to third place with 79 points from 43 games, 6 points behind Newcastle United.
