Championship (Week 43) : Fulham beats Aston Villa 3-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 43: Three wins in a row for Fulham. After their success against Ipswich Town and Norwich City, the Cottages continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa this Monday.
Fulham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Sessegnon Ryan in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cottages further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Aluko '56 and Kebano Neeskens '79).
Fulham climbed to fifth place with 73 points from 43 games, 3 points behind Reading FC, which has a game in hand.
