MOSCOW, Jun. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2017 : Chile defeated Cameroon by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Confederations Cup group stage game on Sunday night at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Vidal ('81) and Vargas ('90).
The result put the Chilians top of Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Chile will meet Germany at the Spartak Stadium on June 22, while Cameroon will face Australia.
