Chile draws with Australia to advance to Confederations Cup semifinals
MOSCOW, Jun. 25, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2017 : Chile tied 1-1 with Australia (halftime: 0-1), in a Confederations Cup group stage game on Sunday night at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.
The Australians started off well by taking the lead thanks to Australian midfielder James Troisi in the 42nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Chile with a saving goal from Rodríguez in the 67th minute.
