RIO DE JANEIRO, Jul. 12, 1989 (AMP) — Brazil 1989 : Brazil defeated Argentina by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Copa América final round game (Second Round) on Wednesday.

The result put the Brazilians second in the group with 3 points. In their next game, Brazil will meet Paraguay on July 14, while Argentina will face Uruguay.
