RIO DE JANEIRO, Jul. 14, 1989 (AMP) — Brazil 1989 : Brazil defeated Paraguay by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Copa América final round game (Second Round) on Friday.

The result put the Brazilians top of the group with 6 points. Paraguay is bottom with no points. In their last game, Brazil will meet group leaders Uruguay on July 16, while Paraguay will face Argentina.
