SEATTLE, Jun. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Centenario : Peru defeated Haiti by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Copa América group stage game on Saturday night at the CenturyLink Field in Seattle.
45 minutes of play and neither the Peruvians nor the Haitians have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Guerrero in the 61st minute.
The result put the Peruvians top of Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Peru will meet Ecuador at the CenturyLink Field on June 8, while Haiti will face Brazil.
