Copa América 2016 : Brazil beats Haiti 7-1
ORLANDO, Jun. 8, 2016 (AMP) — Centenario : Brazil defeated Haiti by a big score of 7-1 (halftime: 3-0), in a Copa América group stage game on Wednesday night at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
Philippe Coutinho scored tripple goals
Brazil dominated the first half thanks to goals from Coutinho ('14, '29) and Renato Augusto ('35). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Brazilians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Gabriel '59, Lucas Lima '67, Renato Augusto '86 and Coutinho '90).
The result put the Brazilians top of Group B with 4 points. Haiti is bottom with no points. In their last game, Brazil will meet second-placed Peru at the Camping World Stadium on June 12, while Haiti will face Ecuador.
