HOUSTON, Sep. 10, 2014 (AMP) — USA 2014 : El Salvador defeated Belize by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Copa Centroamericana group stage game (Group A) on Wednesday night at the BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Burgos ('48) and Alvarez ('69).
