HONG KONG, Feb. 22, 2003 (AMP) — Japan 2003 (Qualifiers) : Macau defeated Mongolia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2003 EAFF East Asian Cup (Preliminary Round) on Saturday afternoon at the Hong Kong Stadium.
The result put the Macanese top of the group with 3 points. In their next game, Macau will meet Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Stadium on February 24, while Mongolia will face Guam.
