HONG KONG, Feb. 24, 2003 (AMP) — Japan 2003 (Qualifiers) : Mongolia defeated Guam by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2003 EAFF East Asian Cup (Preliminary Round) on Monday afternoon at the Hong Kong Stadium.
The result put the Mongol third in the group with 3 points. In their next game, Mongolia will meet Taiwan at the Hong Kong Stadium on February 26, while Guam will face Macau.
