HONG KONG, Feb. 28, 2003 (AMP) — Japan 2003 (Qualifiers) : Taiwan defeated Guam by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2003 EAFF East Asian Cup (Preliminary Round) on Friday afternoon at the Hong Kong Stadium.
The result put the Taiwanese top of the group with 6 points. Guam is bottom with no points. In their last game, Taiwan will meet third-placed Macau at the Hong Kong Stadium on March 2, while Guam will face Hong Kong.
