HONG KONG, Feb. 26, 2003 (AMP) — Japan 2003 (Qualifiers) : Taiwan defeated Mongolia by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2003 EAFF East Asian Cup (Preliminary Round) on Wednesday afternoon at the Hong Kong Stadium.
The result put the Taiwanese third in the group with 3 points. Mongolia is fourth with 3 points. In their next game, Taiwan will meet Guam at the Hong Kong Stadium on February 28, while Mongolia will face Hong Kong.
