KOWLOON, Nov. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Japan 2017 (Qualifiers) : Taiwan defeated Guam by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a East Asian Cup qualifying game (Second Round) on Saturday afternoon at the Mong Kok Stadium in Kowloon.
Taiwan dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Wu Chun-ching in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Taiwaneses further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lin Chieh-hsun with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
