SPAIN, Feb. 22, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 24: After their 0-0 draw against Granada on February 14, Los Leones returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Athletic Bilbao forward Aritz Aduriz with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Athletic Bilbao climbed to 12nd place with 27 points from 24 games, tie on points with SD Eibar, which has a game in hand.
