SPAIN, Sep. 23, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 5: After losing 0-1 to Rayo Vallecano on September 20, Los Amarillos bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Sevilla this Wednesday.
Las Palmas dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mesa Roque in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Amarillos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Alcaraz in the 76th minute.
UD Las Palmas climbed to 12nd place with 5 points from 5 games, tie on points with Real Sociedad.
