SPAIN, Sep. 22, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 5: Two wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their 0-2 win against Eibar on September 19, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-0 victory over Getafe this Tuesday.
Antoine Griezmann scored dual goals
Atletico Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French midfielder Antoine Griezmann in the 4th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Colchoneros further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Griezmann seconds before the end of regulation.
Atletico Madrid climbed to first place with 12 points from 5 games, tie on points with runner-up FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
