SPAIN, Sep. 26, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 6: Five wins in a row for Villarreal. After their success against Espanyol, Granada, Athletic Bilbao and Malaga, El Submarino Amarillo continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid this Saturday.
All the action happened in the first half, with Villarreal striker Baptistao Leonardo goal in the 14th minute.
Villarreal CF climbed to first place with 16 points from 6 games, one point ahead of runner-up FC Barcelona.
