La Liga (Week 7) : Atletico draw 1-1 with Real Madrid
SPAIN, Oct. 4, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 7: The match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Real Madrid players started off well by taking the lead thanks to French forward Karim Benzema in the 9th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Atletico Madrid with a saving goal from Argentine forward Luciano Vietto in the 83rd minute.
Real Madrid climbed to second place with 15 points from 7 games, only one point behind Villarreal CF.
