La Liga (Week 8) : Real Madrid beats Levante 3-0
SPAIN, Oct. 17, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 8: After their 0-0 draw against Malaga on October 4 and 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid on October 4, Los Blancos returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Levante this Saturday.
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Marcelo ('27) and Ronaldo ('30). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Rodriguez Jese with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Real Madrid climbed to first place with 18 points from 8 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Villarreal CF, which has a game in hand.
