La Liga (Week 8) : Barcelona defeats Rayo 5-2
SPAIN, Oct. 17, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 8: After losing 2-1 to Sevilla on October 3, Barca returned to winning ways with a 5-2 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Saturday.
Neymar served up another goal feast
Rayo Vallecano opened the score in the score in the 15th minute thanks to Javi Guerra, before Barcelona regained the advantage with Neymar ('22 on penalty, '32 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Neymar '69, '71 and Suárez '77).
FC Barcelona climbed to second place with 18 points from 8 games, tie on points with Real Madrid.
