La Liga (Week 9) : Bilbao beats Gijon 3-0
SPAIN, Oct. 26, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 9: After their 2-2 draw against Deportivo La Coruna on October 18, Los Leones returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Sporting Gijon this Monday.
Aritz Aduriz scored dual goals
Athletic Bilbao dominated the first half thanks to goals from Susaeta ('29) and Aduriz ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Leones further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Aduriz in the 67th minute.
Athletic Bilbao climbed to 12nd place with 11 points from 9 games, only one point behind RCD Espanyol.
