La Liga (Week 26) : Bilbao beats Valencia 3-0
SPAIN, Feb. 28, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 26: After losing 4-2 to Real Madrid on February 21 and 0-1 to Real Sociedad on February 21, Los Leones returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Valencia this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Merino Sabin ('73), Muniain ('77) and Aduriz ('80).
Athletic Bilbao climbed to 7th place with 38 points from 26 games, 3 points behind Celta Vigo.
