La Liga (Week 17) : Celta Vigo beats Malaga 3-1
SPAIN, Jan. 8, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 17: After losing 0-3 to Sevilla on December 19 and 2-1 to Athletic Bilbao on December 19, Celta returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Malaga this Sunday.
Celta Vigo dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Iago Aspas in the 7th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Celta further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Wass '60 and Fontàs '73).
Celta Vigo climbed to 9th place with 24 points from 17 games, tie on points with UD Las Palmas.
