La Liga (Week 19) : Las Palmas hold Deportivo to 1-1
SPAIN, Jan. 20, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 19: The match between Las Palmas and Deportivo La Coruna ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Las Palmas players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Garcia Mateo in the 13th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Deportivo La Coruna with a saving goal from Romanian forward Florin Andone in the 69th minute.
UD Las Palmas remains in 10th place with 25 points from 19 games, one point behind SD Eibar, which has a game in hand.
