SPAIN, Jan. 14, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 18: After their 1-1 draw against Villarreal on January 8, Barca bounced back with a 5-0 victory over Las Palmas this Saturday.
Luis Suárez scored dual goals
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Uruguayan forward Luis Suárez in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Messi '52, Suárez '57, Turan '59 and Vidal '80).
FC Barcelona climbed to second place with 38 points from 18 games, 2 points behind Real Madrid, which has two games in hand.
