La Liga (Week 18) : Eibar beats Gijon 3-2
SPAIN, Jan. 15, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 18: After losing 0-2 to Atletico Madrid on January 7, the Armeros returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Sporting Gijon this Sunday.
Eibar dominated the first half thanks to goals from Adrian Morales ('4 on penalty), Leon Pedro ('21) and Luna ('23). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Armeros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
SD Eibar climbed to 9th place with 26 points from 18 games, only one point behind Celta Vigo.
