La Liga (Week 29) : Real Sociedad draw 1-1 with Leganés
SPAIN, Apr. 1, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 29: The match between Real Sociedad and Leganés ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Leganés players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Szymanowski Alexander in the 29th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Real Sociedad with a saving goal from Real Sociedad forward Jimenez Juanmi in the 53rd minute.
Real Sociedad climbed to fifth place with 49 points from 29 games, 6 points behind Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
