La Liga (Week 29) : Eibar beats Villarreal 3-2
SPAIN, Apr. 1, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 29: El Submarino Amarillo crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 3-2 against Eibar.
Villarreal had started off well by taking the lead in the 18th minute with a goal by midfielder Soriano Bruno. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Armeros nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Leon Pedro '48 on penalty, Kike Enrique '54 and Inui '77).
Villarreal CF remains in fifth place with 48 points from 29 games, 7 points behind Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
