League One (Week 8) : Preston draw 3-3 with Chesterfield
ENGLAND, Sep. 16, 2014 (AMP) — League One / Match day 8: Chesterfield was held to a 3-3 draw by Preston on Tuesday.
Preston players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Browne ('8), Garner ('15) and Brownhill ('28) while Chesterfield only scored once Doyle ('31). However, even though they were leading 3-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Chesterfield with dual goals from Doyle ('79 and '90/penalty.
Chesterfield FC climbed to third place with 14 points from 7 games, 2 points behind Peterborough United FC.
