League One (Week 37) : Southend and Gillingham play out 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Mar. 19, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 37: Gillingham was held to a 1-1 draw by Southend United on Saturday.
Southend United players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Wordsworth Anthony in the 21st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Gillingham with a saving goal from Norris Luke in the 53rd minute.
Gillingham FC remains in fourth place with 63 points from 37 games, 5 points behind Walsall FC.
