League One (Week 12) : Oldham defeats Gillingham 2-1
ENGLAND, Oct. 8, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 12: After losing 0-2 to Milton Keynes Dons on October 1, the Latics returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Gillingham this Saturday.
Gillingham had started off well by taking the lead in the 10th minute with a goal by Mcdonald Cody. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Latics nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Ladapo Freddie '65 and Flynn Ryan '89).
Gillingham FC are down in 13rd place with 15 points from 12 games, tie on points with Oxford United FC, which has a game in hand.
