League One (Week 12) : Bristol Rovers beats Fleetwood 2-1
ENGLAND, Nov. 1, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 12: After losing 1-2 to Peterborough United on October 29, the Pirates bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Fleetwood Town this Tuesday.
Fleetwood Town had started off well by taking the lead in the 4th minute with a goal by Hunter Ashley. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Pirates nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Taylor Matthew '61 and Montano Cristian '73).
Bristol Rovers FC climbed to fifth place with 26 points from 16 games, 2 points behind Sheffield United FC, which has a game in hand.
