FRANCE, Oct. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 8: The match between Dijon and Montpellier ended in a 3-3 draw on Saturday.
Montpellier players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Ninga Casimir ('18, '25) while Dijon only scored once Diony ('39). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, and despite Ninga Casimir goal ('58) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Dijon with goals by Vanden Borre Anthony ('81 own) and Yohann Rivière ('90).
Dijon FCO are down in 15th place with 8 points from 8 games, tie on points with Olympique de Marseille, which has a game in hand.
