FRANCE, Oct. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 8: Three wins in a row for Nice. After their success against Monaco and Nancy, Nice continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Lorient this Sunday.
Nice dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Portuguese forward Pereira Ricardo in the 11th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Nice players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Balotelli with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
OGC Nice remains in first place with 20 points from 8 games, one point ahead of runner-up AS Monaco.
